Sophie Sinclair attended both of the Photography Workshops that were run by the Royal Albatross Centre. She entered a few of her best shots in to the Otago Peninsula Photography Contest and managed to score herself a category prize for a photo taken of an albatross flying overhead at Taiaroa Head!
Year 9 students joined Ruud Kleinpaste (aka Bug Man) help explore, monitor and restore the habitat around Pilots Beach and Taiaroa Head. During the action packed two day programme, students today counted bugs they collected from Pilots Beach in our education facility, whilst Ruud talk about the biodiversity and importance of bugs.
